Where do I meet the adoptable pet?
Meet our adoptable cats at the Vestal PetSmart Cat Adoption Center! Located at 3132 Vestal Pkwy E, Vestal, NY 13850.
Dog meet-and-greet appointments are held at either the Vestal (Binghamton) PetSmart or the Ithaca PetSmart since we are a PetSmart Charities Partner.
Can I take a pet home with me after a successful Meet-and-Greet?
Absolutely! After meeting an adoptable pet if the meet and greet went well, your new pet is ready to go home with you that day. The adoption fee can be paid by cash or credit/ debit card through the Adoptions Made Easy (AME) PetSmart server.
Should I bring anything to meet the pet I am interested in?
Bringing treats is always welcome when meeting a cat or dog.
For dogs, you’re welcome to bring a collar and leash to the meet-and-greet if you’re planning to adopt that day.
For cats, please bring a carrier, since it will be required to safely take your adopted cat home.
All adopted animals go home with a complete adoption packet, including their health records, information on a free first veterinary visit, and a detailed care folder with guidance on helping your new pet adjust and thrive in their new home.
Where is Greenfield Pets Animal Rescue located?
Greenfield Pets Animal Rescue main office is located at 125 East State Street, Suite 300, Ithaca NY, 14850.
Since we do not have a brick-and-mortar animal shelter location yet, all of our adoptable pets are in foster homes within central NY. Our adoptable cats are at the Vestal PetSmart Cat Adoption Center.
