If you have already found a new loving home for your pet:

Make sure to charge a rehoming fee to the new adopter to encourage responsible pet ownership. It is not advised to list your animal for free. This is because when adopters invest financially in the adoption process, they are more likely to take their responsibilities seriously. This includes providing proper care, training, and a safe environment for the animal. Rehoming fees also help ensure that the animals are placed in responsible homes.
